This is a common (40%) skin problem in children and
sometimes adults. It starts in childhood with small red or white bumps
on outer areas of arms, legs and sometimes cheeks. It does not itch and
is there all the time. It increases in teens and decreases in the 20s.
There are creams that strip the cells off the skin and open up the pours but
it cause irritation and easy sunburns. Most will stop using the
treatment and just put up with it. There are some diseases where this is
increased but since it is in 40% of the population that does not help one look
for causes.
